Mk2 2017 Squeaky Clutch??

Hello
The car has been sat for a few days over Christmas, I took it out 2 days ago and it was fine, took it out yesterday and the clutch pedal has started squeaking.
If I get in the footwell and push the pedal down the squeak seems to come from the actual pedal, as if there's movement within the footpad and bar - I found it rather odd that the clutch pedal is made of plastic.
Has anyone else had a squeaky clutch pedal, can I fix it..should I be concerned it's more than a squeak.
It's still under warranty (shoddy RAC warranty) but I feel a bit ridiculous taking it to a garage for a squeaky pedal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.
2.0 TDI SE NAV.

Not had this issue on my Tiguan but my Astra clutch pedal developed a squeak. A quick squirt of white grease in the pivots solved it.

My 2016 (66) Tig has also developed this squeaky clutch pedal... how did you get on with resolving it?

I haven't tried anything yet - thought I'd give the matter a search on here first.

Hello!
Thanks for the prompt, I keep meaning to reply.
I haven't done anything to it as yet. I thought (as silly as it may sound) that as it has been sitting in the cold for a while - nowhere to go - that it might just be cold.
So whenever I've been driving I've had the heating pointing to the foot position and it seems to have fixed it.
Has yours been sitting for a few days in the cold too?

It has yes... and unlikely to be getting a long run for some time, apart from tomorrow when I'll be driving the 20 miles to the garage (it's booked in for a service). Will try heating up the footwell with the heater to see if that helps - maybe it is just the cold!

Thanks for your reply :D
