Re: Interference lines on Infotainment screen

As it affects all screens it would appear to be a screen problem. Ask your dealer for their opinion but if they say the screen needs replacing VW probably won't be your cheapest option. From the pictures you posted you have the earlier 2016/2017 screen version so I'm guessing there is no warranty re...

I think it's Cambridge.
That's where I was when my mpg counters started playing up 🙃
Can't be that, they are still at Tier 1 in Cambridgeshire..........

(although I did note the place showing on the OP's screen is not where the car is actually at).

Re: Interference lines on Infotainment screen

Does this happen on all screens or just when the navigation screen is showing?. Possible screen problem if it happens on all screens, radio, settings, media screens etc.

Re: Newbie looking to maybe purchase

There are relatively minor differences on operation between the earlier Discover system (with four physical buttons either side of the screen), and the newer glass fronted system (with only one physical button either side of the screen). They have enhanced the newer system and it is easier to use bu...

Re: Engine warning light.

I suspect it has seen an error in a sensor. I recently had this which turned out to be the G505 sensor in my case, or in plain English the DPF pressure sensor which needed replacing. It still drove perfectly. You need to take it to the VW dealer to diagnose the problem. Mine cost £200 to fix. I post...

Re: Long Term, Since refill and Since start mileage keeps resetting

Just popped out and noticed that the Long Term and Since refuelling are the same as this morning, and only the "since start" had reset. Hopefully a glitch, but will see again tomorrow. Reading through the links I posted earlier suggests it's a rare glitch but does happen on the odd occasion. Not se...

Re: Long Term, Since refill and Since start mileage keeps resetting

Odd that the 'Since refueling' and 'Long term' also reset to zero after a few hours.

Obviously the since refueling should reset itself only after filling up and the long term only after 99:59 hours of driving.

No idea what's going on there.

Re: Long Term, Since refill and Since start mileage keeps resetting

Do you mean the 'Long Term' and/or 'Since refueling' counters also revert back to zero after just a few hours, or only the 'Since start' as niggly58 points out above.

Re: Tailgate rust

Is it just going in to be assessed, or have they already seen it and the days visit is the repair?.

If they think it is a simple fix such as light surface rust only it could well be just a days job using a smart repair perhaps.
