Re: New Tiguan Prices and Specifications brochure

Is it me or have they dropped the R-Line Tech and gone back to just the R-Line and there appears to be no 230psi Petrol engine version anymore and no 240psi Diesel version either.

Not feeling the new choice of wheels either.

Re: New member, just put a deposit down

Welcome to the forum.

I would say give it the normal check around the bodywork ect, if it has a sunroof check they have made sure the waterways are clear as some have had issues and then just check the inside all works.

I hope yours is trouble free and your enjoy your new car.

Re: Hello everyone

Welcome to the forum.

I find having my AA membership to cover me with any issues with tyres is a life saver, just maybe a thought.

My Tiguan is 3yrs old and due a change. I did not like the new Tiguan so had a look at the Touareg.
However I tow a caravan, £2500 for a Touareg tow bar fitted by VW.
Now looking elsewhere.
What about a Non VW fitted towbar?

If you like the car your have options outside VW for a tow bar.

You mentioned all the good points, is there anything bad about the car or anything that anyone buying one should look out for?

Adjusting for exchange rates and difference in VAT rates in UK compared to Germany, £58,000 Euros is about £53,300 Sterling.
Way too much and when you go over 50K your in another market of cars as has already been mentioned.

Re: Big discounts on pre-registration 70 plates

Would be worth comparing the discounts on your link to the discounts you could already get on places like Carwow to see if there were actually more discounts or just the same as what you could already get.

Re: 2021 Tiguan R...test

Nice car but not enough for me to get rid of my R-Line 230 and jump into an Tiguan R.

Love the colour and the wheels though. ;)

The touch steering wheel controls is something I saw a few years back on the Range Rover Velar when that was launched.
