Re: 2021 Tiguan GTE or PHEV with GTE mode ....Test

Touch “buttons” are useful on a screen where you can make a vast array of functions available depending on what’s on the screen at that point in time. Re: Wireless Android Auto

I bought one of the Carlinkit dongles from Amazon. Tried it for a few days but wasn't that impressed. It worked okay but was slow to "boot up" and there was a delay between pressing the button to skip to the next track and it actually happening.

I have both. They are similar, but I think the data plug has a few things that We Connect doesn't have, but I can't remember what these are
Does it use a different app?

I have the WeConnect app on my iPhone which does communicate with the car and shows vehicle status, remaining fuel, mileage, etc I had it in my local VW dealer today to get a software update for a known issue where the WeConnect app al...

Re: Most Popular Colour?

I got mine in white purely because I felt that white suited the R-Line the best.

Re: Time between build and registration dates

I’ve just bought a similar vehicle 12 miles on the clock. When I asked the question I was told they are registered by VW for numbers and parked in an old RAF base for a few months and then put out to dealers at a reduced price. But all but new vehicles. The one question I have is when is the servic...

Early 2019 was that the time VW had problems getting the 240 bi turbo through the WLTP testing?
So I’m guessing when that happened, the cars sat in storage for quite a while?

Re: Time between build and registration dates

Mine was built with factory options so from initial order to delivery was 12 weeks so mine didn't sit around at all. Some dealers who have unregistered cars in stock and also VW UK will register several vehicles to increase sales figures and attract bonus payments from the factory so some of these ...

Interesting, how do you find the build date?
Via ErWin. VAG group website where you can get access to information about your car along with workshop manuals, etc

It costs to access with the cheapest being about £7 for an hours access.
