Re: Wipers

I’ve just changed mine after 8 months as the OEM ones are pretty poor.

Bought some Bosch aero twins from eBay for £20 the pair

Re: Vw Connect Go Door Open

Same as you JK. The app is total rubbish and i no longer use it. It says the doors are unlocked when I can clearly see they are locked.

The Merc app is so much better to use. You'd think VW would sort their shizzle out!

Re: R-line tech seat cleaning....any recommendations?

Hi, I am facing a similar problem (stains) with the exact same seats on my R-Line. In my case though, the stain is coming from vomit (kids, you know) and although I gave it to a car washer guy, he couldn't get the whole stains out (slightly visible but existing on the seat). Any suggestions on what...

Re: R Line steering wheel peeling...help!

Used them to do a BMW steering wheel in Alcantara.

Normal thing to do is you pay them £300 and they send you a replacement steering wheel. You then send yours back to them and they refund you £150. If you are local to them or fancy a day out, they will happily fit it for you while you wait.

Try this company. I’ve used them before and their work is excellent.

Re: Rear camera washer

Thanks for that.

I always try and wash the car once a week however its a bit mucky at the moment and I haven't had time to give it a clean. Went out earlier and cleaned the windows, lights and reg plate. I mainly use the side mirrors when out and about.

Re: Average MPG consumption values

Mine's been a bit hit and miss as well but I work mainly on what I get per tank and it stays steady at around 470.

I'm relatively happy with that as it's a big heavy car and my old 120d auto was giving me 500 miles from a tank.

Re: R-line tech seat cleaning....any recommendations?

A small amount of tar remover will remove the chocolate and the grease stain. Go over it again if it doesn’t completely remove it then clean with AG interior shampoo. I had this back in the summer when no2 child decided to eat chocolate raisins in the car and ended up spilling the bag between her le...
