Re: Damage - Unkown Origin

Thanks all.

Any mudflap recommendations / links to where I can buy some?

If the scratches can be ‘polished’ out, Any suggestions on how to lessen the appearance of them?

Thanks again for all your input

Re: Damage - Unkown Origin

my guess would be that your good lady wife may have been driving on roads that could possibly have seen a lot of rain recently that may have washed some sharp stones into the road. I'd be inclined to agree, just very surprising that there isn't any paintwork damage, aside from that huge scratch to ...

Re: Damage - Unkown Origin

I guess it's possible, but they would claw down I should imagine. I was thinking maybe a grass verge / bushes or something. But that would have involved her doing it not once, but also on the way back to hit the other side, and I'd expect some more [aint damage. I had consider vandalism, but they'd ...

Damage - Unkown Origin

Hi, Can anyone help work out how this damage is likely to have happened? Maybe it has happened to you? I washed the car last weekend, everything spotless. My wife has been using the car all week, and this morning I've gone out to use it for the first time since, and there are scratches on all the wh...

Re: Good Value Rubber Mats

I really recommend the VW original rubber mats. They fit perfectly, and the quality is great. They just look the part. for the sake of a little bit more money, for something you will see every time you get in and out.

Found a place that says the will do it, but can't guarantee it will work etc. for £13. Taking it on Friday. I'll let you know how I get on.

Re: Screw in the tyre

I just rang my local Kwik Fit

"hi 2019 tiguan. Pirelli tyres, says seal inside. Not sure if screw has gone through, and you won't be able to tell until i bring it in, but if it is a repair can you do that?"

"No. You need a new tyre"

Screw in the tyre

Hi, I have a 2019 Tiguan R-Line. Any ideas if this is just a simple repair job? circa £20? Or do I have some funky tyres that will cost me a bomb to replace? I have no idea how long it's been in there (or how long it even is). There's been no tyre pressure loss at all. IMG_6208.JPG IMG_6209.JPG

Re: Wipers

Can anyone tell me how to lift the front windscreen wipers off the car? I try to move them away in the low position but the bonnet appears to be blocking me doing it?

I'm sure there's a simple technique I am missing......

Re: Heating The Car Up before a trip

Additional question. Does Carista allow to disable the car from moving if the key isn't inside the car?
