Re: R-Line Tech finding the ride a bit hard

Personally I'm pleased I went with the SEL. I knew the RLine was a firmer ride, so I avoided it for that reason. I've also taken to using the Off Road mode or Off Road Individual setting on the worst stretches of road/track. It seems to dampen the suspension a but more (I don't have DCC). I posted ...

I wanted the other equipment the R-Line Tech gets over those models as standard.
If you’d added the extras that the R Line Tech has over the SEL as options to an SEL, you could have gone for the SEL with the same engine and saved around £800.00 ;)

Re: R-Line Tech finding the ride a bit hard

I’m afraid if I’d spent £1000 on my car which actually made it look worse I’d be crying into my beer glass right now 😢

Re: SEL 2WD or SE Nav 4 motion?

You really have to think about several things...... 1. How often am I going to go ‘off road’? 2. Where in the country am I living? (will determine yearly weather conditions). 3. Would you miss the ‘toys’ if you went for the SE Nav? Bear in mind also that 4wd will be predominantly 2wd most of the tim...

Re: Epc

I would say 4 times is more than enough to find and fix the problem. If it was me, I would tell them they have one more chance to fix it once and for all, or your next move will be to reject the car. There have been members here who’ve rejected vehicles, who I feel sure will be along to discuss any ...

Re: Panoramic roof lights

This all smacks of VW trying to keep it quiet that newer models can have them activated, hoping that people won’t bother in order to save them having to do the work. Typical VW🤨

Re: All season tyres

I've just ordered 4 of these to fit on some 17" rims which I bought from another member on here. They are being fitted on Saturday. They came in at £130 each, less 10% on the tyres (the rest was balancing, valves, disposal etc), which worked out at £48.60 and a free Amazon Echo Show 5 which is £80 ...

Re: All season tyres

Just found these 2 reviews of the Michelin CrossClimate SUV’s fitted to a Mitsubishi PHEV. First one is in all round dry and wet weather, and the second reviews the capabilities on snow. Altogether a very useful test of what I consider to be an exceptional (although a tad expensive) all-season tyre....

Re: Autolock and rear camera fault today

One of the problems in this country, and I’m sure ‘down under’ as well is that there is a breed of unscrupulous ’scrotes’ who prey on people, especially lone women drivers, who’s car stops either at a junction or in traffic and their door is forcibly opened to perhaps grab something seen in the car ...
