Re: At Last!

I had hankooks come with my last car and hated them. The tig came with pirellis and they're brilliant. And that is a beautiful view :) Mine originally came with Pirellis and I agree they were a great tyre, that is until all 4 started to show ‘cracks’ around the point that the tread meets the tyre w...

Question though for current owners, ambient lighting can you change the colour?

Not in the current version of the Tiguan, but, and someone will correct me if I’m wrong, I believe it’s possible in the new ‘facelift’ model ;)

Re: Key Fobs

Oh I like the sound of this feature.....shame we don’t get it here. Unfortunately the ‘legal eagles’ in this country are very much averse to anyone leaving a car engine running in a public place or on a public highway with no occupant (driver), however it’s not illegal if you do this on private pro...

Re: At Last!

Really nice, that blue would have been my second choice had I not seen the Caribbean blue.
I’m loving my Michelin CrossClimates. Did the dealer supply yours or did you get them fitted after collection?

Wait until the really nice weather comes and you have it open!

You can count on the fingers of one hand how many times I’ve had the roof open on my nearly 4 year old car. I find it great for letting more light into the car, but if I want fresh air, then the AC does an admirable job!

Re: Key Fobs

Unfortunately that option is not available here in the UK, so you may have rely on someone else from the US who can help. Or maybe it’s an option that’s available elsewhere in the world?

Re: What’s this

It is indeed the Outside Ambient Temperature Sensor. As the manual section says, it might be accessible without taking off the bumper cover if you can get to it, but it could be a bumper cover off scenario. As the sensor bracket looks like it has broken off it may be prudent to let the dealer fix it...

Steve. I appreciate that however ALL other cars owned have given me sufficient light to see when reversing. Not theTiguan. How am I expected to see?

I do agree with you, and Xtrailman’s idea of using the hazards is probably the best solution, and acts as an extra warning!
