Re: Service and Tyre Wear

Thanks for the info peeps
Have just checked the prices for the Pirelli's against the Conti's and quite a difference

Have also noticed Bridgestone have also brought out a tyre which is nearly the same price as the Pirelli

Service and Tyre Wear

Have just had the tiggy serviced today - no problems found at just under 6000 miles (well you shouldn't anyway or am I being negative  ) Anyway, dealers stated the rear tyres were 31% worn and at 6mm tread remaining and the fronts were 47% worn and at 5mm (Conti's fitted at present) and the spa...

Re: Bypass VCDS codes

Unfortunately not - the modules request the code before you can carry out certain modifications

I used OBD11 to set this on mine but found it wasnt that loud so I reversed the coding (even though I have the full version of vcds)

Cheers, I'll check them out. Are they the GT200 version and are they a better choice than installing LED's.
Haven’t tried the GT200 version as they have only recently been released
The LED’s are better in my opinion but replacement items are not road legal

Re: mk2 2017 SE Nav headlight bulb

Is it possible to upgrade the low beam h7 halogen bulbs in our 2017 SE Nav. The OEM bulbs are really quite poor for a modern vehicle. We have on had the car for a few weeks and am not impressed with the amount t of light they currently give out. I used Phillips Racing Vision on my GTi Golf which ha...

Re: Can anyone recommend a good accurate tyre inflator?

Auto express did a review not long ago <span class="skimlinks-unlinked">https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/product-group-tests/36242/best-digital-tyre-pressure-gauge-2020</span> Yes, if you want a good tyre pressure gauge, Autoexpress seem to do annual reviews so would be a good place to look. If like m...

Re: WTB 2018 ish R Line 190ps dsg

There are plenty of 180 bhp R Lines on autotrader

The 190 is only 10 bhp more, but came in with the new emissions and in R Line Tech form
It also has a petrol filter and can be a bit more expensive
