I do not believe the engine oil or any other material is different. I know the VW service here in Sweden uses VW Longlife III 5w30 oil.

Hello, in Sweden, we have the variable servicing as default on all vw models.
Service screen shows both inspection and oil change: 30000 km or 2 years which comes first.

The oil check never done on a cool engine/oil. The best way to check the actual level is to run the engine/drive the vehicle as normal oil temps are reached. Then allow 5-10 minutes to oil to drain to drain plate but dont allow it to be too cold, like never wait more than 30 minutes. That will give ...

Good news just came in, the workshop checked the parts number on the parts supposed to be changed because of the technical campaign, but saw that my car has the correct parts. So, they do not do any work on that.

The odometer is at 7850 km = 4877 miles
First 4551 km/ 2827 mile (99:59h engine run) average speed 46 kph (28 mph) - average consumption is 6.7 l/100km = 42.1 mpg
The last 3299 km/ 2049 mile (69:27h engine run) average speed 48 kph (29.8 mph) - average consumption is 6.4 l/100km = 44.1 mpg
