Just finished getting this corrected.

The dealer has to contact VW UK who will provide a letter confirming the correct model for the VIN NUMBER.

Send that letter to DVA and they send a new V5.

simples really.

As far as I know when you transfer the plate off the donor car the original plate on the donor car is restored, or a new plate assigned automatically. But if you go to any of the sites selling plates it’s all described there.

I had the same problem in a golf 2.0 tdi, glow plug light on, into limp mode, stop start temporarily fixed it. All I've done is cut the map folder and saved it elsewhere, then copied the new map folder to the card

Nothing more than that.

I have MY20 car and Just replaced existing /maps folder with the 2019 smaller 6gb files and working fine now. I had also expected the 2020–> on files to apply, but there you go.

If it’s the same peg, I bought these some time back for a golf and did a great job. Drilled the stump out and fixed these in with epoxy type glue.

I see lots of references to MY19 etc on the forum. I had understood this to be Manufacture Year, and although my Tig is first registered 02/01/2020 it had to have been manufactured 2019. Now I start to see Model Year mentioned in this context. Is it possible to have a MY20 car physically built in 20...

I’d have thought the C in PCP was for contract, is there really something in the small print that allows them to ask for more money. I may be wrong but if you are liable I’d walk away. Turn of the year is only a few months away, then you’ll know.

VW showroom had a door dent fixed on mine before i picked it up (someone had opened a car door on it). you should not need a body shop, the dealership just use a fanchisee like dentmaster/dentdevils. it was a perfect fix. Should be able to find a mobile franchisee if you search google.
