Re: Auto Hold off when parking?

Have driven automatics and manuals for yonks and have never used my left foot in an automatic. I have held the car on the footbrake with my right leg, however, when required. Everyone is different, I have been driving both autos and manuals as needed for about 50 years and always use left foot brak...

Re: MY BITDI

My early work years were in the motor trade and I soon learned to left foot brake autos and now I switch from auto to manual with no issues with what foot to use.

Re: DSG Help......may seem dumb :(

A little thing that some have had an issue with on hill starts is the car rolling back after the AH is released by pushing on the accelerator and then not continuing to apply more throttle. The initial push must be continued to pick up the load of the car and giving it enough throttle to move off. P...

Re: No seat belt or using phone while driving

First phone offence should be 12 months off the road with no appeal and the problem would go away.

Re: Auto Stop

I have the advantage over a lot of people in not having the constant drain of a dash cam. With my new battery S/S works every time and has continued to do so but it has only been a week and driven only a few times in that week. Unless you have parking mode it will make SFA difference while car is r...
