Re: Tyre Pressure

Ok - so
Have seen guys on here with SEL 19” tyres running at 38psi. Anyone here with R-Line 20” tyres? What do you recommend running the tyres at?

Re: Navigation map updates: unzipping VW download file on an Apple Mac

I’ve got a Mac and I’m sure I just downloaded an app from VW that downloads, unzips, and installs/updates the maps. Took nearly 90 mins but it was quite straight forward. I had to use a USB hub to hold the VW Nav SD - it created a back up itself before updating.

Re: ENGINE MANAGEMENT/EMISSION WARNING LAMP

My mpg for a motorway run has dropped by 8/9 mpg. Same route - similar weather and driving style/speed. Last week I was easily averaging 52.1 mpg on a 40 mile run and now I'm getting 43.4mpg. Thats why I'm wondering if its related. It may well be related, or it could be another faulty sensor giving...

Re: ENGINE MANAGEMENT/EMISSION WARNING LAMP

Tried googling that code and not much came up - no idea if that has been affecting mpg too.

Re: ENGINE MANAGEMENT/EMISSION WARNING LAMP

He said the heating element that heats up the adblue before squirting into the diesel is faulty. The Adblue goes in to the exhaust system, it never comes in to contact with the diesel. Sorry - you are right. My bad! I’ve got code “DTC P148B00 Reductant Heating Output Stage, defect” No idea what tha...

Re: ENGINE MANAGEMENT/EMISSION WARNING LAMP

Update : So just had an RAC guy run diagnostics (Amber Emissions light suddenly disappeared) . But as the vehicle keeps a log it came up with something to do with the AdBlue Heating Element - He said the heating element that heats up the adblue before squirting into the diesel is faulty. Can’t remem...

Re: ENGINE MANAGEMENT/EMISSION WARNING LAMP

Just thought I'd mention my problem too. Picked up car on 15th July 2019 - so only 2 weeks driven - done nearly 600 miles mainly motorway (70%) - yesterday car stuck in traffic for about 30 mins - and that dreaded Emissions Control Lamp (Amber) came on. It is still ON. Before anyone discusses issues...

Re: CarNet now We Connect

I cannot get the updated We Connect app to work at all. The old one was fine but this says ‘connecting’ then crashes me out of the app. I’m using iOS13 Beta 3 so it might just be that the app doesn’t support iOS13 yet. Anyone else had this? I have the same issue samuelgeorge. I have now updated to ...

Re: Mats/liners

I have received my genuine all weather mats from eBay and they are fab - I particularly like the raised edge/lip around them - makes cleaning easier.

I’m also looking for a boot liner but not sure if I should spend on the genuine ones or get tailored aftermarket ones.
