Hi, I have a 2017 R-Line . I would like to fit a dashcam. Does anyone have an electrical diagram for the overhead console that shows where I can pick up a 12 switched live and ground?

You pick up the supply from the fuse board, behind the glove box, and run the cable up the A post and across under the headlining. Search the forum, there are quite a few helpful articles about the process. I fitted a pair of Nextbase (front and rear cameras) to mine and it was no big hassle (after doing the research).

This should be all you need (though I don't think anyone has used the approach you're looking at)

Thanks everyone. I previously had a Range Rover Sport and picked up a 12v from the sunroof power. But I'll give this option a go

I fitted a rear view mirror dash cam with rear view dash camera took supply from fuse board . I would invest in a upholstery kit for prizing the lining out of way to run wires ,cheap off ebay but well worth it
