Hi . When using the adaptive cruise control I can increase the speed using the steering wheel control up or down in 5mph increments. I can lower the speed say by 1 mph increments byusing the "-" on the steering when but if I try to raise it by the same amount using the the "+" nothing happens. Months ago I could do this . I dont know if this coincided with not being able to use Lane assit below 40 mph which I could do months ago. These anomalies seemed to happen after I took it in for its first free service at VW agents .Rang them to ask if they had plugged it in but said no and if I wanted them to do so would cost ÂŁ60.
Any help much appreciated
on mine it works by using the +/- button and that increments by 1mp up or down. if it is not working i would say it worked before the service.

Interesting, so going from a 50 to a 70 road you have to press + 20 times?
sorry the plus and minus buttons increment by +/- 5mph each time.
the set and reset increment +/- 1mph each time.

The procedure above is exactly what I do BUT if I'm at 40 and want to go to 60 I press silver (+) 5 times, I know I could accelerate to that speed then press Set ( like letting car automatically reach desire speed). The if I want to go back to 40 I press - 5 times . If I the want to go to 42 I should be able to press Res two times ,nothing happens. If I want go to 38 I press Set two times and hey presto that works.
then you have either a fault on the button or the software, dealer needs to fix
