Just had my front and rears checked at main dealer and as I suspected the discs are badly corroded again (VW OEM), this is the 2nd set since I had the car from new in Oct 2018 and it's only done 48k miles. They quoted:

I asked if they had any other brands available as I am decidedly not impressed with the corrosion on the OEMs and they didn't have any in stock. So I am now seeking quotes from other independents to see what they come up with. Seriously not impressed.

I'm going with a local garage to me rather than the dealer. They are fitting Pagid discs and pads front and rear, all in at just under £500 - happy with that. I take it having a non-VW garage replace the brakes with non VW brand ones will not affect the "all in warranty" on other bits of the car?
