The pads on my TSI 230 are coming up for replacement at 34,500 miles.
I have not found the brakes on the TSI 230 that inspiring. Are VW OEM pads the same across the Tiguan drive train range (below the R)?
Do VW dealers offer any upgraded pads or would I need to go to a specialist, and would their be any that VW regard as VW OEM upgraded pads, say from fast Golfs with the same diameter discs and brake set up?
What is the current pricing on brake pads? Front and rear are 75% worn.
