Engine Cutting Out and Hesitating at Junctions

Very similar to my 2022 petrol 1.5TSI 130PS. The engine has no power when pulling away and will jerk a bit from 1st to 2nd. Yes, the engine revs rise but apparently it is designed to do that to prevent stalling when actually, because the revs then drop down it does stall because you've released the accelerator pedal - does take some getting used to. I've also had to dip the clutch occasionally to catch it to save having to turn the key to re-start. I know it's petrol but after 20 years of diesel I really miss the torque of diesel.

This may help

The Skoda’s had this issue and they were the 1st to introduce a fix. Some had a software update whilst others had an alternator as well
I would have thought this would have been ironed out by now as it was a long time ago when these issues raised their ugly heads
It was only the 1.5 that had the issues. The 1.4 version of the act engine never had the problem

edit; Found these as well

Probably explains why my car has been so economical if it is because of these 'lean burn' settings both cold and when warm. Never used to get over 40mpg from a petrol car before - even averaging over 50mpg at times especially on a run. But then, at slow speeds, even in 2nd gear, there is absolutely no power when you sometimes need it.
