Sorry, meant to say as well that you will only have the internal release if you've specified 'keyless with the electric tailgate' as an extra.

You do get it with electric tailgate even if you don't have keyless entry. I have it on my SEL 190 TDI with electric tailgate but no keyless entry.

BTW I have the keyless entry and start but no electric tailgate, still no internal boot release button. Unusual!!!

Ah! Ok, I looked at the price list and the wording seemed to suggest you needed keyless as well. So it looks like you just need the electric tailgate.
I stand corrected.
