When I check for which tyres to use on my Tig the following two options come up for the 235/55/18R.

I understand the 100/104 is the load index to do with load weight.

Which is the correct one though for a DSG 4motion?

I assume the 104 due to extra component weight in this model.

Mine is a manual 1.5TSI 130PS and the size is the same, 235/55 R18 and have a load rating of 100V. That means it can take a weight of 800kg per wheel. The104 load index shows 900kg per wheel. So, either will be okay unless you have some very heavy passengers! As long as the weight is not exceeded having tyres with different load index would not fail an MoT as long as the sizes are all the same.

The V by the way means a maximum speed of 149mph!
