No engine oil pressure ???

Hi all
Anyone knows how to check engine oil pressure on VCDS ?
Because I might do something not right…

I think the oil pressure sender is just a pressure switch so it wont show a value ,only tell the computers to send a warning to the instrument panel that pressure is low .
its rather stupid there is no visual check of this in the power on self test or tell you no pressure when engine is not running .Normally a light or indicator will be on before startup as theres no pressure till the engine is running .

No engine oil pressure ???
