Helllo everyone,
I test drove a 2018 Tiguan SE 4Motion last night and it's the first car in my search that I actually fell in love with. Some consumer reviews have me scared though. And I've had it drilled into my head that VWs break down often and are expensive to repair. Is this really true?
So far I've driven a 2018 Rav4 XLE, 2018 Ford Escape SE, and 2018 Hyundai Tucson Value (close second but tiny compared to the Tiguan). Honda CR-V is too far out of my price range, and my first car was a used Honda Civic that constantly broke down. I've felt like Goldilocks during this process and the Tiguan was "just right." But, can I get 10 solid years out of this car?
Thank you!
