Does anyone know if these are compatible? Trying to connect my iPhone 4S to Tiguan Mk2 for first time, but it does not seem to recognise it?
My friend google indicates it seems to work with iPhone 5 upwards, but does not say anything about earlier models.

At launch, Apple has limited CarPlay to iPhones with Lightning connectors (such as the iPhone 6, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, and iPhone 5C). CarPlay functionality works on iPhones with iOS 7 or newer.

No won't work.

Thanks - thought as much. I since plugged 6 in and it worked 100%.
