Another poll, this time to get a feel for how many people prefer a manual gearbox and how many people opted for DSG.

Please post "voted" to keep the poll live on the forum once you have cast your vote :D

Voted, would have liked a DSG but not available on 1.4tsi and so not in my budget.

A DSG gearbox suits the 150bhp diesel in my opinion as keeps the engine in the powerband. My old Golf R was a manual, and was brilliant for that extra bit of involvement. The Tiguan is more of a sedate car.

Voted - first DSG, a couple of awful hand me down Pug autos in my past and had sworn an oath to never buy another auto. However, the DSG is a game changer, such a relaxed drive when you want it to be. Select sport or manual when you want to hustle.

Minimal to no power loss as no torque converter.

Only had the car for two days but loving it.

Voted. Just "point and shoot", but can play with the paddles if you want a bit of fun!
