Got this fixed. It was a loose antenna connection in the driver side door handle. The dealer just reconnected it all and all has been great ever since.

From my point of view I don’t like it so I disabled mine.

I like the keyless entry system and unlike some find it very useful. The only precaution to take is the use of a signal blocking pouch for storing the key(s) at home, but that again is no hardship.
I like the idea of putting the key in my pocket and not having to worry about it.

Agree with Steve, like it a lot. I use the faraday bag, both at home, and I also take it with me when I'm out and about caravanning.

As said earlier , love not having to fumble for keys
Extra security none. Not to sure a Tiguan is on the top of the must steal list , and I try not to concern myself with such unimportant things .
It's insured.

Stephen, mines insured also, but I plan keeping it long term, as I have done with all my previous cars. To me it's important, as I don't really want it back if its been stolen, so I take what I consider simple sensible precautions to avoid this possibility.

Lager that's totally understandable.
Just I can't lose sleep over that stuff.

my grip with the car after a week is the door lock system, have tried adjusting settings, but I hate the fact with son in back when i have to get out of the car I have to leave my door open, then open rear.. because if I shut my drivers door the locks shut and I can't open his without unlocking the car.

is there a way to stop this?
