My question would be ‘when you say leading edge is it on a horizontal part or the FRONT edge’ - possible grounds for unclear terms???

Hmmm, difficult one. It's about a centimetre up from the very edge of the bonnet at the front.

It was around 0.1mm near the chip & 0.2mm elsewhere.
