Server not responding!

Guys, don’t know if anyone else is suffering from the same problem, but every now and again I go to either submit or preview a post to a thread, and nothing happens for 10 seconds or so, and then I get a message saying ‘cannot access the website, the server is not responding’. :(

Nothing I do can get my reply to post except to copy what I’ve written, exit the website for a few minutes and when I return it loads as normal, and I’m able to paste my text and continue.

It doesn’t happen that often, and only when I’m trying to post a reply to a thread. And it only happens on this forum and none of the other forums to which I’m a member.

Anyone else have a similar problem?

No Rob, it been happening for a few weeks now on and off, but I thought it about time to mention it. Just curious that no one else seems to have had the problem. That’s why I asked.

There doesn’t seem to be any pattern to it though. I can go a week without it happening then it’ll do it twice in a couple of days.

Just for info I’m using Safari with iOS13.1.2 with an iPhone XR.

Had one day where i could not access the site for around 30 minutes other then that no issues.

Me too, the site appeared to be no longer there. Only had it the once a few days ago.

Well I thought I’d resurrect this thread as I’m still suffering with the problem in my first post, only more frequently now.
I’m using an iPad Pro with iPadOS13 to post mainly, but I get exactly the same problem with my iPhone XR with iOS13 as well.
I will add that on the less frequent times I’ve used my Windoze laptop I’ve never had the problem.

Am I really the only one having problems using Apple iOS or do others have it and put up with it. I’m beginning to find it increasingly annoying!

Oh and by the way, this is the only website on which I’ve experienced this!

I access the site once or twice a day from home and work computers. Both use Windows 10 - never had a problem accessing the site. Is this just an iOS issue?

No issues here on either the iMac or iPad, all running the latest software.

For the past month or so at times the website has been extremely slow respond, not always but it's very on/off. Sometimes I just give up trying to load a page and come back in an hour or so. Sometimes it's back to the normal speed sometimes it's not.

The problem isn't my laptop as other websites respond as quickly as usual, something to do with the server perhaps?
