I just bought a set of genuine Volkswagen RHD pedals from a German VW dealership in Emden via ebay.

I've fitted a Chinese footrest for a RHD Mk7 Golf from eBay.
It took a bit of modification to make it fit and it's not perfect, but it looks much better than the plastic version.

It's a pretty good match for the genuine pedal rubbers too.

I spotted this on a random forum ad would you believe. It's probably the first time google adwords has actually produced something relevant. Never heard of the site, and I'd probably go back and find the same thing on aliexpress before I used this...

Tammma, that’s the same one that I fitted. Have a look at my post on page 3 of this thread where I explain what a b@stard it was to fit. If I were to fit another, I would go for the one suggested on pages 4 & 5.

What modification was required to make it work ?

I can't remember exactly what I did with it now, but I do remember that the hole for the retaining screw wasn't in quite the right place so I had to modify that. The screw still fits in the recess though, so the modification, which wasn't particularly pretty can't be seen.

Ok thanks...sounds like drilling a new hole in the right spot is required. Simple enough.

Essjay ...thanks for pointing out..I clearly didn't go back far enough in the thread! Not sure I was a fan of the second wider pedal cover...perhaps it fits better but to me it's less of a match with the others. So not sure I am a fan.
