I will be using these for my alloys - took their GAP on Saturday. I had GAP 123 which is same group of companies on my last car as they offered the best cover I could find last time.

Even using the MSE25 code for ALA, I couldn't get them anywhere near these guys for Gap.

Have cover on tyres and alloys in place taken through dealer; so just waiting for payday and then I can buy this also through them and then cancel the insurances I took through the dealer.
How did you get alloy insurance on the 20 inch Suzuki alloys through VW dealer when VW does not cover these alloys?

Unless you dealer uses an independent company that does?
My dealer did covers all wheels (i didn't take any cover out), the issue arises in the repairs they do, with diamond cut the most they would do is to spray the alloy with a bright silver to hide the marks, they wont re diamond cut the wheels.
Thats more then i was offered, just told they do not cover diamond cover wheels.

Think they can only be re-cut once, otherwise strength in wheel is lost. I'm sure a wheel company near me in derby charges about £80 to refurb one wheel. So don't see point in expensive cover.

Its 3rd party cover as i understand it - think they use premia solutions to provide their Gap. Tyre and alloy and dent/scratch cover.

current front wheels on my GTD are curbed, i got some horrific quotes of near £120 per wheel, back when ordering the GTD most wouldn't touch diamond cut then, they certainly look good but are a pitta if you do any damage which is likely to happen one day. thought by now the repair once process would have been improved.

I was happy to buy the insurance. Only a £10 excess for repairs. If unable to repair you get £150 towards a new wheel. While that is nothing like the actual cost, the premium was under £200 so you would virtually get your money back and you have three years cover. This is most unlike me. I hate anything to do with insurance and I worked in the industry for 30+ years!
