So received confirmation that my build week is 23 (3rd June) with estimated delivery of end of June/early July. Still think that’s optimistic based on others experiences.
So it has taken 10 weeks to go from “with the factory” to “build week confirmed”.
Seems that the theory that the build week is confirmed approximately 4 weeks prior to the build is about right.

Yes - mine was. But then was told it was approx 10 weeks from build to delivery to dealer in UK (if build in Mexico where the Allspace is).

Well my allspace as said is on the boat. Will be arriving on the 19th to Germany I believe. Or around about that date. So depends how quick they get it to dealers. Plus got paint an interior protection to go on it

Hi.
I’ve been silently watching this thread as a unregistered user but thought i would register to share my experience.

I ordered my R-Line Tech Tiggy 31st March 2019
And was given build week 17. (My order was a dealer pre allocated order).
It was built on week 17 as scheduled, but the app didn’t update at all, it’s complete garbage, It doesn’t update properly ,if you want accurate updates you need to call your dealer.
The app eventually updated and skipped to “in transit” ... I’ve called my dealer and they have confirmed it has now been sat at the port for over 2 weeks... he also told me exactly what everyone else is saying in this thread, VW are trying to push as many cars across the border before the brexit crap happens to insure they can sell there cars tariff free.
Its causing delays of anything from 6 to 8 weeks just for shipping !!!
So if your car gets built add + 8 weeks to your lead time and if it comes earlier than this you can smile
Tiguan - R Line Tech - 150ps - 2.0 TDI - 6 Speed - White

Ordered 22-03-2019
Built 23-04-2019
Shipped 23-05-2019
In Uk 25-05-2019
Collection 31-05-2019

Mine was built on 27 March, and incredibly and inexplicably it is still sitting on the Mexico quayside.

7 weeks waiting for a ship.... No explanation. No ETA

Great thanks all. Will get in touch with lease company. Was ordered beginning of Feb and told should be here end of April fingers crossed.
Cheers.
Fingers crossed for you there is no delay at the ports.
The app and the SMS notifications seem to have skipped the build phase. Got 5a on Saturday and then 5b this morning.

Fingers crossed for it being here early June.
