Oh, and the fitted rear side window blinds from Vanstyle. I tend to get a set of these for each car I have.

Work really well, allow you to have the windows down if needed and look loads better than some stuck-on sunshade!

I've not used the Tiguan ones but my GTD had genuine VW rubber mats and they were excellent. Easy to clean, lasted forever and fit perfectly.
Thanks i`ve ordered them off ebay for £30, rear only.

So... genuine rubber mats. Be it from VW, or from eBay as recommeded on other threads.....

Would people go whole hog, or just get them for the grubby back seat areas of the kids.

I’m quite passionate about this thread so intend to post pictures of all of my kid setup when I get my car on Friday onwards to help others.

Next on my shopping list is the car seat protectors. Got some serious dents in my existing car from the car seat...

Rubber mats front and rear if you ask me. We have very snowy, mucky winters here and they are a must.

I have both front and rear rubber mats for the winter.

Keeps mucky little feet off the carpet ones until the summer

Is this good value for front and back mats? £112 all in.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-VW-T ... ctupt=true

Feels like a lot of money for some mats.

REVIEW: Royal Rascals Car Seat Protector

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Protector-upho ... 1546213031

I've just fitted it in my small Clio. Fits well, seems very well made. My Clio has some nasty dents from this car seat, so it's hard to say how it will fare in the Tiguan, but first impressions are good.

Sorry for the state of the car, and the crumbs! Adds to the authenticity, hey!! :-) Hence the need for decent mats!

The netting looks 'pink' in the pictures I think, but it's actually a dark red.

Rubber mats I bought these for £15:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Tiguan-MK ... 2749.l2649

Fronts are an excellent fit, rears are a little short but do the job. Had to leave the in the garage for a week first though as they have a really strong rubber smell!
