Ok - so
Have seen guys on here with SEL 19” tyres running at 38psi. Anyone here with R-Line 20” tyres? What do you recommend running the tyres at?
38 psi as the plate by the drivers door states.
That’s the same as mine mate - but if you look closely those readings are for R18 tyres. I want to know what the optimum settings are for R20 tyres.

Isn’t the r18 just the spare?

If you look as closely as you want me to, you will see that the R18 refers to the spare 😉

When I picked up my Tiguan the pressures were the same as you found. Luckily, with the TPMS system fitted I have a visual readout of the pressures and the first thing I did was reset the tyre pressures to ‘normal’ which is 38 psi. The TPMS system has three settings, ‘normal - 38, ‘comfort - 34 (I think) and a high pressure setting which I forget the name of which is 42 psi(I think).
FULLY LOADED :D

I set mine at 2.7 on the front and 2.8 on the back. I found fuel economy is better and the tyres don't sit so flat on the road. it so helps when loading up the car for short trips
