ID4 - just info keep safe

Post by chillyman50 » Tue Apr 07, 2020 1:10 pm

The MKIII is due out in 2022 and some posts are already on here with pictures.

Interestingly the ID4 due 2021 is all electric and is due to replace the MKIII Tiguan in 2029 (will be mark 2 ID4). the ID4 can do around 300 per charge. so will most likely be 500 /600 by then.

Most manufactures are now releasing all electric or all hybrid. In fact 50% of the cars over the next two years are EV. Many like Mitsubishi are not having a diesel, the Santa Fe will only be one diesel in one version (se etc). Many of the Koreans and Japanese are moving away from diesel now and then presumably petrol.

Anyway heads up!! you can google the current ID 4

What always annoys me is the concept cars and drawings look really good and then once the bean counters get hold of them it gets to become nothing like the concept drawings, just for once can a car manufacture make the car they draw.

If VW were to release the first Blue car image it would sell well.

The front grill on the car in the test images in the snow looks awful, hope that goes straight away,

Your right, I’ve only seen Porsche recent concepts make It to production not too different e.g. Carrera GT, Taycan and Boxster (concepts are their respective top pictures)

@chillyman50 - can defo see that's a sticker or something, just to try and hide it's front end properly.
On the last pic you can see it more obviously. even the bump of the VW badge underneath.

I really like the white one :)

Unfortunatly, these things usually have a very high price tag :(
