Facelift Configurator Now Live in Germany

Yeah, in Oz they have the wolfsburg RLine with black suzukas and roof rails.

Think I much prefer that!

We have them on an Rline which is the level below the Wolfie Just hasnt got HUD and thats about the difference

Mine has 20" Suzukas and roof rails and thats standard. Highline has 19's but all have roof rails

My German is practically non existent, but are the default wheels on the R-Line the 19” Valencia? It seems a bit mean to make the 20” Misano / Suzuka wheels optional upgrades.

(I’m assuming the Suzuka’s were previously standard, given I’ve never knowingly seen an R-Line without them.)

I think this is partly why the new R-Line lacks kerb appeal vs the original Mk2 for me. It lacks “presence” until you start adding extras. Unless I misunderstand the configurator in Deutsch.

Also noted that fog lights are no longer standard on the Facelift R-Line Tech. I’m guessing that they’ll be like the Golf 8 GTI type lights and so cost many beer tokens :(

According to my Dealer they have not started building the facelifted Tiguan.
No idea when demonstrators will be available.
