A couple of frther questions

Is this the first automatic car you have owned?

The dash board display before putting your foot down is D then changes to S?

The gear lever is in automatic D mode before you put your foot down?

How do you change it back to D?

Asking these questions is my way of making sure there is no user error if you are driving an automatic car for the first time.

H Chris, yes first ever auto y friend, I'm old skool, manual

Setting ogg with the car in std. eco or normal drive.
When I plant it the car auto. goes into sport mode as it can clearly sense the aggressive driving, which is fine
Gear is always in DRIVE (standard) not pushed to the right into sport
Change it back I just press the mode button to get back to eco.

Its not going into sport unless the gear indicator shows a S, full acceleration puts the auto into kick down so a lower gear may be selected to give maximum acceleration.

Pushed to the side is not sport, it is manual mode.

Pulled to the rear is sport.
