R-Line 2017 - What Tyres Please

Post by pele35uk » Thu Mar 25, 2021 1:47 pm

Hi,

After 2 new front tyres. Currently have Continental 255/40 R 20 W XL all round, but they want £200.00+ each. Can anyone recommend anything else please?

Thanks...discovering a very slow minor leak in the rear left. Seems to be losing about 3psi in a month... So this is well timed.

P Verde Seal, that are partly silicon. So they take a lot more wear. I am on 20k and still have 5mm on them i expect to get to over 30 before i need to change the fronts. Th  e rear are over 6mm.

Hi, finding tyres for the 20" Suzuka's is a bit hard, as there are no more than 4-5 options available.

If you decide to stick with the oem factory recommendations regarding RFT (type) ones, then only the Pirelli and the Conti's are suitable.

Here is the ones that come up in the 255/40R20 dimensions:

Continental Sport Contact 5 SUV
Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV
Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 2 SUV
Pirelli Scorpion Verde SUV
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 SUV
Tiguan Allspace 2.0 BiTurbo 241HP 4Motion R-Line DSG7 Platinum Grey with swivelling towbar MY2018
