So I've got a new handle for for the passenger seat slider as the one fitted is all scratched.
There is a small tab on the rear of the one fitted which obviously is what holds it on and I'm buggered if I know whether it's push, pull or what. I've tried all sorts with a screwdriver and no joy???
Anyone any ideas.
The tab circled is not part of the plastic handle but what holds it in place.

Pic of the underside of the new handle. So the tab is part of the metal mechanism.

Re: Seat forward reverse slide handle replacement.
Checked the workshop manual and it is a case of pushing/driving the handle on and off. Brute force I’m afraid.
The handle is shown as item 12 and the description says it’s a push fit.
