It certainly sets a high benchmark, well done Skoda! I'll be watching this space with interest, though I've still got just over 2 years to go on my current lease.

Looks nice - and I would consider based on 1st impressions.

Bigggest problem is that I haven't anywhere to charge due to my house being terrraced and no off road parking, so until the local councils come up with something, a lot of people who want to do there bit for the enviroment have no chance and will probably be penalised in the longer term

It definitely looks good and hopefully bodes well for the id4 from VW.

I thought the interior was a definite step up from the id3, although I still dislike having so much functionality (like heater controls) stuck in the screens... I guess that’s how things are going though...

Best news is the price. I’d thought this range would be in the £40K+ bracket but leaving aside the silly Founder’s Edition, it looks like a sensibly specced car will be available in the mid-£30,000s.

Apparently the name of the new ŠKODA ENYAQ is derived from the Irish name 'enya', meaning 'source of life', itself being derived from ‘Eithne’ (pronounced ITH-nee) Gaelic for ‘spirit’ or ‘essence’.
