Just so so good

- Roof control panel there is a button of the passenger door. What does this do please?

- Radio stations - these are all set, but one one station displays the actual radio graphic. How can get them all to show the image?

- WiFI - silly to think my car has this installed? is this an add on I need to buy?

- CarPlay - allows my phone to pretty much mirror on the scree. So nice. So, kids asking me. HOW can they get a video or even YouTube to play on the screen if at all possible ? pls

As for the other stuff:

1. Switching on/off the light beneath the side mirrors, if I remember correctly?
2. Radio station-dependent, I suppose?
3. You need to get a Wi-Fi dongle to gain access to the Internet on the way

Search online for VW Discover Media and there is a download with instructions for radio station logos.

WiFi is available, but for internet you could also connect via WiFi to your phone hotspot.

Sorry why the shusssh in the CarPlay?

Are thee any benefits to having wifi on the head unit? Activate any more functions for example?

In most countries it is illegal to have videos playing within the drivers sight.

You gain access to VW news feed (though you shouldn't be reading this even while stationary - unless Steve etc. deem otherwise in the spirit of the almighty British legislation), weather forecast and traffic congestion/roadworks indications for the onboard nav. Oh, and possibility of map updates on the way.
