It varies with the speed, if you drive on low speed roads it won't be an issue, I do 99% of my driving on high speed motorways so it is very annoying for me.

Has anyone fitted front wind deflectors to see if they improve things?

I get road noise, wind noise on my 2019 SEL diesel, and the engine is nosier than the 2015 CX-5 I had, which is a lot nosier than a 2019 CX-5.

But its not excessive just noticeable.

Hi guys.
I got my car about a week ago. Even at low speeds I get a windy noise on the front doors.
I saw that other owners had the same issue, but did anyone had it fixed?
Merged topic as your asking the same question and it will be easier to answer and ask questions in one place. ;)
I got my Tiguan end of November. Two days later I drove in a highway and I noticed serious wind noise from the driver's door at speeds above 100km/h. After almost a week tests (workshop and road) my VW Dealer just told me that the origin of the noise was at the small window (triangle) of the driver's door (initially they thought it was the mirror). They are working on it. Let's hope ...
Hi Madala,
Did you get a fix for this in the end?

We had the ours back to the dealer who worked out it is the rubber seal that is fitted by a robot in the factory, the rubber was twisted. They redid it although I can see where they cut the rubber on the outside, not totally happy but it has reduced the noise and the cold leg that the driver and front passenger got from it.

Being partially deaf does have advantages.
For me the 190 diesel engine noise is intrusive compared to my last car a cx-5.
