I have checked the German VW accessories book. Front mud flaps (Schmutzfänger) for the Tiguan R Line and Allspace R Line are available code 5NA075111A but no rear mud flaps are itemized.

Whilst its true that rear mud flaps are not available for an Rline , even from China here is mine with a set on it

I bought a set off Ebay with the assurance they would fit but they dont as the part that supposedly fits over the extra wheel arch trim is 10mm too narrow being 30mm and the trim is 40mm

Solution. trim the piece off that fits inside the trim and smooth it down so its flat. ( the bit with the two holes in it ) Then hollow out the top of the part that curves around the edge of the trim from the outside to inside the guard.. Then heat the inside up down from the top with a hot air gun and bend it so that the angel is sharper.
ALso the tab under it need to be heated and pushed sideways about 1/2 an inch to meet the screw under the bottom of the trim.

I just fixed it with two screws as shown
