The OK button on the right hand side of the steering wheel is the call and hang up button on both mine and my wifes Tiguan.
Have you tried the handset/phone button?
Do you mean the voice button on the right hand side of steering wheel above the OK button?

On my steering wheel, it is the one above the OK button, where the icon looks like a house phone handset. When not in call mode, pressing this button activates the calling features allowing you to select a number to call using the up/down buttons and the OK button. When a call comes on my car this also answers the call (or the OK button). Similarly either this or the OK button terminates a call.

The icon on the button immediately below the OK button is a head with sound waves coming from it, that is the voice button (as I would call it) as it activates the voice recognition.

The new Tiguan has the view button to change to full map view and removed the phone icon, will also like others try the OK button as never thought to use that to answer and hang up calls. A updates manual would be so useful.

I haven't used the new AID but on the first generation AID it clearly states during a call 'Hang Up', so the obvious button to press is the 'OK' button.
Does the second generation AID not say 'Hang up' on the screen during a call?.

I can only hangup using the ok while moving along the car menus and selecting the phone menu.

So how do you make a call with the mk2 AID. Do you have to press the phone button on the central screen.

As you can see in the above steering wheel pictures I have the phone button on my steering wheel, which automatically brings it up on the AID which at the end of a call means I just press the 'OK' button to hang up. Nothing to scroll through which makes it so easy.

I understand the 'View' button changes the AID view, on the earlier version you could still change views from the steering wheel buttons, so I'm a bit confused as to why VW have changed this, it seems to be less user friendly than the earlier AID.

With the mk2 AID I've found only the central screen can be used, thats pushing phone and selecting usually from favourites, again hang up is on the same screen , not impressed.
