Fuel gauge problem

Post by Miss_Kitten » Wed Nov 27, 2019 8:00 pm

Hi all

I'm located in Australia and have taken delivery of MY20 Allspace Highline. I have 150km on the clock and my fuel gauge is indicating that it has a full tank of fuel and the infotainment indicates that there is 70km till refill is required.

Has anyone else come across this issue? If so, how did the dealer respond?

I will give the dealer a call today and will keep you posted.

The range is purely an estimate based on average consumption. What is your average consumption showing? It may be way out with such a low distance to calculate it on. I have had the range show more at the end of a journey than at the start going up the further I've driven, just based on High usage in previous run (around town) and much better mileage on the current run

I would say drive based on the fuel gauge, it does also flag up a warning on the MFD when it reaches the red band.

The main complaints on here re fuel gauge is it not showing an increase if too little fuel is added as a top up, rather than showing full and running out.

Hi Miss_Kitten,

Have you solved the problem?
I own one Tiggy 2020 with exactly same problem... I take it to dealer to solve but they have no idea whats going on.

How do you solve it?

Thank you!!
