Hi guys,

On the Chip Ex website it gives two options for Pure White:

1.) LC9A, 0Q0Q
2.) LC9A

Does anyone know what the difference between the two is please?

Many thanks!

Colour shade!

Most automotive paints have several shades of each colour which correlates to the number of paint manufacturers of that colour.

BASF, Sikkens and PPG to name a few will all have differing formulations hence a slight difference in colour shades. Also as VW are a global manufacturer it is likely that they will use different paint manufacturers in different countries.

There should be a paint code on your vehicle identification plate however to be certain of identifying the correct shade any reputable commercial accident body repairer will have a selection of colour swatches which will confirm your exact colour code.

0Q0Q being European (EU) order code for 'pure white'?
(e.g. 5K5K is for 'Urano Gray", 2T2T for 'Deep Black' etc.)
