Snags with my GTE 8.5. Sorry, I know this is for Tiguans, but the baseline is the same.
I have an ohme charger and Octopus Go tariff (not intelligent tariff). It's possible to schedule a charge via the app with price cap (commence at 0030), but as Chris has mentioned, the 12v battery pretty much discharges while waiting for the start time (charging LED goes to Red on the car when plugged in, indicating a fault. As stated earlier, the car wants to charge immediately, and the Ohme desired schedule clearly contradicts this).
So, 2 weeks in and 2 instances of a flat 12v battery during/post charge. It seems the 'red'period is when the 12v discharges).
Great to have my car alarm wake the street at 0300 as the battery hit low voltage (it was 2v when AA rocked up at 0900 ish). My car is currently in a dealership as i wasnt prepared to accept a jump from AA and be told to crack on.
The self help workaround is to plug up as late as possible, but I'm normally in bed by 2100 so not achievable. Suppose I could use a 3 pin socket and suck up some peak and off peak charging, but why should I have to resort to that.
Will let you know what Breeze come back with.
